What’s your favorite WOD or Lift? “GRACE”
What is your favorite skill/movement that you have learned at CrossFit IoTA/Southtown? overhead squats
How has CrossFit changed your life? Crossfit has helped me learn to love myself again
What keeps you motivated and coming back for more? Besides my WONDERFUL crossfit family! Crossfit is my Antidepressant its what keeps me feeling happy about myself and I need that everyday.
What’s something you know now that you wish someone would have said to you when you started CrossFit? How addicting it is
One word to describe me would be…Dedicated
I have always wanted…a million dollers ( ANY GIVERS??)
Outside of the gym, I like to… spend time with my family doing anything outdoors
Three things you would always find in my fridge… Milk, Cheese, eggs
Something nobody knows about me or would be surprised to know about me…I am deathly afraid of needles! (kind of funny considering I am 1/2 covered in tattoos LOL)
Favorite physical activity outside of CFI… Bike riding
Favorite place to eat in Cache Valley … Texes Roadhouse
Song(s) that gets me pumped up for a workout…eminem-till i collapse
The last thing I ate was…a ZONE bar
My proudest accomplishment is… to overcome my mind games I used to have and be able to lift over 100lbs without second guessing myself about being strong enough to do it
My six month goal is…to learn to squat with my chest up everytime, and start using my legs to lift more not just musle it up all the time, and learn to do a kipping pull up!!
My favorite workout attire is…I don’t really have one but I have to have a tank top can’t stand to have any other top on in a wod
My favorite workout partner(s)… My son Malik ( I used to love to kick his butt in class, but now he kicks my butt)
