Please take the time to write out and check off your reps on this one. It sounds easy to remember, but when you get going it gets confusing. Also focus on doing this more for form than on the time. These are two VERY fundamental movements that we could all get better at. Get your hips down on the squat (below parallel) and touch your chest to the ground and get a full lock out at the top. Keep up the good work!!
Just wanted to congratulate Camile Martindale on her Gold Medal this past weekend at the Utah Summer Games power lifting competition. I know she’s been lifting a tone and working really hard and It’s paid off! WELL DONE!

I just want to thank everyone again for the support this past weekend. We had a great time and everyone from our box that competed was AMAZING!! A special farewell to Matt Carey who just graduated from Sky View, enlisted in the Amy, and is headed out for boot camp tomorrow. I’ll be posting an athlete profile on him very soon, but wanted to wish him all the best and we look forward to hearing about his time at boot camp when he returns in the fall.
Last but not least I’m headed to scout camp this week, but will be here tomorrow and wed mornings. I know you’re in very good hands while I’m gone and am truly grateful for the great staff we have at our box so that I can go and do things like this.
